		<description>First come the Starbucks', then come the burning crosses on the lawn...at least I think that's how the old southern saying goes.  Gentrification is the White Man's term for legal ethnic cleansing...at the very least economic cleansing, which works out the same in most neighborhoods.

At the end of the day if the development occurring in an area brings in jobs and promotes growth in it's surrounding city without making it impossible for the residents in the area to afford to live in the homes they've built for themselves then in my humble opinion it's a good thing.

But what the hell do I know?  I'm just an unopened condom in a sock drawer in Atlanta.
